If there is a power failure, does the thermostat still work?

If there's an interruption in Internet service, the Thermostat will continue to function just like any other non-connected thermostat; in other words it will continue to regulate the heating in accordance with the last value set before disconnection.

While the service is down you will not be able to interact remotely or modify programs or settings, but you will be able to force manual adjustments by clicking on the physical buttons of the Thermostat.

When the connection is restored, all functions of the thermostat will be automatically available again. In the event of a power failure, the heating and thermostat will stop working, just like any other non-connected thermostat. However, the Thermostat is designed to restart automatically once the power supply is restored.
