There are energy-saving solutions that enable savings from the outset with very little investment. For example, replacing light fittings or window frames does not require a significant investment, yet it can lead to considerable savings and a significant improvement in energy efficiency. Iberdrola purchases the energy savings generated by implementing energy efficiency solutions, such as replacing a fossil fuel boiler with an aerothermy heat pump, for example, through its energy saving certficate (CAE) scheme.Combining small improvements with a long-term plan is the most profitable approach.
