The maintenance contract is signed with Iberdrola for the first year. After this period, the property owners association can either renew the contract or sign a new one with the company of its choice.

You can set up “off-grid” self-consumption installations, but this does not usually make economic or environmental sense where a grid connection is already available. An “off-grid” installation requires not only a greater number of panels, but also the installation of sufficient batteries to store the energy you will consume overnight. All of this makes an “off-grid” installation considerably more expensive than an installation connected to the grid.

Subsidy and payment

By assuming the role of rehabilitation agent, Iberdrola manages and ensures its collection, eliminating any risk to the Property Owners Association (hereinafter CCPP) of possible variations. In addition, should the CCPP decide to finance the work, it will only have to finance the amount that is not eligible instead of the full amount, which means paying substantially less interest.

No, the CCPP will have to pay the amount that is not eligible when the Administration confirms the pre-awarding of the subsidy and therefore the works can start.

Generally three months from application, although it can take up to five months.

No. If the Administration grants a lower subsidy percentage than the one specified in the offer, Iberdrola must inform the CCPP, offering the CCPP the possibility to stop or continue with the Rehabilitation. Should the CCPP wish to proceed, it will do so under the new parameters of the subsidy awarded; otherwise, the commitment is considered to be terminated without incurring any costs for the CCPP.

No. If, once the work has been carried out, the Administration informs Iberdrola that the work does not comply with the project drawn up and therefore does not recognise the percentage of the grant initially awarded, Iberdrola assumes the difference. In other words, the CCPP will not be affected by this variation in the amount finally paid.

Yes, we collaborate with most financial institutions and would make available to the CCPP the one that best fits their requirements.

If, once the project is completed, the project shows that the initial quotation deviates by more than the 10% reflected in the offer, Iberdrola will not pass on the cost, offering the CCPP the possibility to stop or continue with the rehabilitation. If it wishes to proceed, the CCPP will pay the new adjusted financial proposal.

The CCPP will have to pay the cost of the project and other expenses that may have been incurred so far.

Installation

The possibilities are: SATE system, ventilated façade or blown cavity insulation. Once the needs of the building have been assessed, and with the approval of the CCPP, the most suitable solution will be implemented, provided that it meets the maximum requirements for obtaining the subsidy.

All equipment is guaranteed for a minimum of 3 years.

No, all the actions to be carried out are on the outside (façade) and common areas (change of boiler for Aerothermy and roof for solar panels).

The equipment is usually small in size, being installed either on the roof of the building (if feasible) or in the existing boiler room (if ventilation permits). The final location will be defined at the design stage.

No. The equipment operates at low noise levels, so it will not affect the well-being of any of the building's owners/tenants. A detailed analysis of this impact will be carried out during the project phase.

No, it is not necessary to change the heat emitters. Although it is true that the performance of the machines varies depending on them, our proposal is always to maintain the emitters in the homes, as Iberdrola guarantees to maintain the feeling of comfort by insulating the entire envelope.
