Diversity and Integration

A strategic objective at IBERDROLA entails the equality of opportunities, non-discrimination and respect for diversity. With a view to attaining this objective, we promote a favourable environment and assist in the reconciliation of private and professional life. In addition, we support our employees with handicaps, guaranteeing their effective occupation.

At IBERDROLA, we consider working in cultural diversity to be essential. Thus, we have taken initiatives with a view to raising employee awareness on functional diversity, in such projects as “Awareness by and for equality and diversity”.

To achieve the integration of workers with diminished capacity, the Group companies are taking steps to adapt and facilitate access to the job of these workers, depending on the requirements and characteristics of the job and the needs of each situation measures concrete.

In Spain to help employees who have family members with disabilities, the Family Plan, which aims to facilitate the integration of these families in the workplace and society is maintained. 

With a view to assisting employees who have family members with some sort of disability, there is the Family Plan, whose objective lies in helping these family members integrate into the labour and social world.
