IBERDROLA upholds a firm commitment to defending the corporate interests of its 600,000 shareholders, equality of treatment for all of them, transparency and communication.
This commitment to dialogue, proximity and specific initiatives in favour of the shareholder, as the Shareholder Day held in the framework of the 2015 General Shareholders’ Meeting, has earned the company the Euroshareholders award for the best initiative in favour of minority shareholders, given by the Spanish Association of Minority Shareholders of Listed Companies (AEMEC - Asociación Española de Accionistas Minoritarios de Empresas Cotizadas).
The association specifically recognises the Shareholder Engagement Policy [PDF], approved by the Company's Board of Directors on 25 March this year.
The IBERDROLA Group provides service and an effective response to all investors who have deposited their trust in our stock through its Shareholders' office, the Shareholder's Club and the Investor Relations department. They also have access to the Shareholders' Ethics Mailbox and the interactive On Line Shareholders (OLS) system for submitting queries, either confidentially or openly.
These channels are an essential part of the IBERDROLA policy, which seeks to establish a personal and lasting relationship with its shareholders, based on constant attention to the accuracy and reliability of all information provided.
