Options for small electricity consumers
Voluntary Price for the Small Consumer (VPSC)
Formerly called Last Resort Rate (LRR), it is the default option for customers that are in the regulated market and are supplied by a Reference Retailer.
This method consists of applying the actual costs, on an hourly basis, of the electricity market. These prices are published by Red Eléctrica de España (REE) every day, with the hourly energy price for the following day.
For further information, please refer to our section on Voluntary Price for the Small Consumer.
Alternative option to the fixed price
In accordance with the Regulations, Iberdrola Comercialización de Último Recurso, S.A.U. offers the option to sign up for a rate at a fixed yearly price for consumers who request it. This entails a 12-month commitment period.
