1. Particular terms and conditions for the Gas Plan Pack

100% discount on the Smart Thermostat, subject to subscribing to the Gas Maintenance Pack for 30 months from the date of purchase.

If the customer unsubscribes from the Gas Maintenance Pack before the end of this period, they will pay IBERDROLA the corresponding portion of the applied discount according to the time remaining until the end of the 30 months, up to the full price (indirect taxes included). This amount will be billed separately after unsubscribing from the service.

100% discount on the installation of the Smart Thermostat, subject to the device being registered on the Iberdrola Customer app within 30 days of the first invoice after the device is purchased. An installer will contact the customer to arrange a date for the installation of the device and its registration on the Iberdrola app.
If the customer has not registered the device on the app within this period, the amount of the discount on the installation applied must be returned by said customer (indirect tax included), this amount will be billed separately after the end of the period.

2. Particular terms and conditions for the Home Gas Plan


Offer valid until April 15th, 2020

Contracts with IBERDROLA CLIENTES, S.A.U. for low-pressure gas supply points with an annual consumption less than or equal to 50,000 kWh.

Offer valid for consumers with no more than three supply points. Offer not applicable to Public Administrations and Official Bodies.

Indirect taxes (1) and the natural gas tax established in Act 15/2012, dated 27 December on tax measures for energy sustainability, will be added to these prices.

(1)The Economic-Fiscal System of each autonomous region will be applied (rates subject to Government-approved variations, which are currently: the VAT on the mainland and Balearic Islands, at 21%; the IGIC on the Canary Islands, is 3% for energy and 7% for other items; the IPSI in Ceuta and Melilla is 1%).

Energy will be billed as the product obtained from multiplying the variable charge by usage in the relevant period plus the product of the fixed term multiplied by the months constituting the corresponding billing period.

The indicated gas prices are subject to the activation of the E-billing service and the management of the contract through My Customer Area. If you discontinue the E-billing service during the validity period of this contract, you will be informed of the new price conditions that are applicable as of the moment this service is cancelled.


The monthly rental price for the natural gas metre shall be established by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Digital Agenda for the corresponding flow rate, and charged by the distribution company. Indirect taxes not included ;(1) ;) shall be added to this price, which will appear on the bills issued to the client. The customer may consult ;www.iberdrola.es at all times.


The duration of the contract is 12 months from the supply start date.

The start date, subject to the existence of an access contract signed with the distribution company and to installations modification where necessary, shall be the first day of the established reading period, which will be shown on the first bill.

The contract may be extended for annual periods in accordance with the General Conditions.


The price of the Gas Maintenance Pack is €8.95/month (VAT not included).

Service Conditions.


The contracted prices shall be updated according to the variation corresponding to the CPI ;(2) ;on 1 January of each year during the term of the contract.

(2) ;CPI: Actual accrued value, for the November-to-November period of the year before the application of the variation, of the General Consumer Price Index published by the Spanish National Institute for Statistics.

Any upwards or downwards variations in the access rates and usage charges, fees and other regulated values which the government may approve for application during the term of the contract will be applied, based on the legislation in force which can be consulted in General layout.

3. Particular terms and conditions for the Gas Maintenance Pack

Annual scheduled diagnostic and maintenance check of the individual installation and gas appliances, including the hydraulic
heating circuit and, likewise, service for breakdowns and the repair of defects free of charge for labour (maximum 3 hours) and
materials (maximum 50€) with a limit of two breakdowns per client and complete current year.

The annual duration of the GAS MAINTENANCE PACK is automatically renewed for consecutive yearly periods unless the CLIENT communicates otherwise by at least fifteen (15) days advance notice before the end of each period. Moreover, changes to the offer applied to this contract will not alter the full annual periods established as of the initial service contract establishment date so long as the service has not been discontinued.

Early termination of the GAS MAINTENANCE PACK initiated by the CLIENT shall require the client to pay the price set for the full valid annual period that has not yet been paid. Termination of the natural gas supply contract with IBERDROLA will not necessarily entail cancellation of the GAS MAINTENANCE PACK unless the CLIENT expressly requests it.

4. Specific terms and conditions for the Gas Maintenance Pack

The purpose of these Specific Conditions is the provision by IBERDROLA CLIENTES, S.A.U. (hereinafter, IBERDROLA) of the Additional Service for Maintaining Natural Gas Installations as indicated in the Particular Conditions and within the scope defined below.

Maintenance service for the CLIENT’S natural gas installations and appliances, with the following scope:

1.1.1. Annual Diagnostic Visit
Includes a scheduled annual diagnostic inspection and maintenance for:

  • a) Individual gas receiving installation, performing the following operations: seal test, pressure testing,
    inspection of the ventilation of the premises, anchors, distance from other ducts, knocks, flexible connections
    and faults on exposed pipes.
  • b) Gas appliances with a capacity of less than 70 kW: water heaters, boilers and domestic appliances for cooking,
    except for glass-ceramic gas cookers; carrying out the following operations based on the need determined by
    the type of appliance: verifying operation with start-up, checking seals, analysing combustion by-products
    and measuring ambient CO.
  • c) Hydraulic heating circuit: inspecting the exposed circuit, checking seals, verifying valves, bleeders and
    lockshield valves, and bleeding radiators if necessary.

1.1.2. Repairing defects or breakdowns:
On detection or notice from the CLIENT of any defect or breakdown affecting the elements mentioned in point
1.1.1 reviewed during the Diagnostic Visit, the affected element shall be corrected or repaired free of charge for
labour, up to a limit of 3 hours, and materials for all operations described in the scale, up to the maximum amount
shown in the particular terms and conditions.

Service coverage is restricted to two repairs in each valid annual period. If the CLIENT requests another repair
after having made two repairs, the CLIENT will be informed that the desired repair is not covered by the Gas
Maintenance Service and will be billed in full according to the provided estimate with no entitlement to discount
of any sort for travel, labour or materials. In any case, travel will be free of charge.

1.2. Exclusions
The following is excluded from the scope of the GAS MAINTENANCE PACK:

  • Any inspection, assistance or repair undertaken by persons unrelated to IBERDROLA and any damage they could cause.
  • Breakdowns in elements belonging to electricity or gas distribution utilities, who are liable for their repair.
  • The installation of elements not supplied by IBERDROLA or IBERDROLA-certified technicians for the provision of the service.
  • Thermostats, control systems or other external elements to gas devices that are not mentioned in section 1.1.1.
  • The correction of faults or breakdowns that are the result of a defective gas installation and/or any substantial change
    or modification made to the installation and/or gas appliances, whenever such changes or modifications have not been
    made by IBERDROLA.
  • The repair of defects or breakdowns arising from negligent, improper or malicious use by the CLIENT of the installations
    mentioned in section 1.1.1.
  • Elements, appliances and/or parts of the installation that are not visible and/or not accessible because they are obstructed or covered by furniture, structure of the premises or other objects, including equipment installed outside the home or premises that, due to their placement, are rendered inaccessible or have no appropriate outlets/inlets available to perform the described tests.
  • The replacement or improvement of elements contemplated in this contract, including cases arising from changes or
    modifications in applicable legislation.
  • Facilities with a capacity greater than 70 kW, ceramic gas cookers and/or different water heater appliances, boilers or
    domestic appliances for cooking; and installations for commercial or industrial uses.
  • The guarantee does not cover the repair of gas appliances older than 10 years or hydraulic heating installations belonging to residents’ facilities.
  • Also excluded is damage caused by the elements covered in the contract or due to their lack of operation, personal injury
    or material damage caused by misuse or poor maintenance, injury to third parties, damage caused to the elements due
    to freezing, fire, explosions, floods or other disasters.
  • IBERDROLA shall not be liable for delays or impediments in the execution of services in the event of strikes, riots, serious
    weather events and other events of force majeure.

5. Particular terms and conditions for the Smart Thermostat

Smart Thermostat

Smart Thermostat device price: The price is €147.93, excluding VAT.

The Smart Thermostat is a product from Iberdrola's Smart Home family that allows you to manage your heating system from your mobile phone, tablet or computer. Details of the product specifications and its functionalities are available at:: https://www.iberdrola.es/servicios/equipos/termostato-smart

Installation price: The price is €45, excluding VAT

Installation does not include any kind of purchase of materials or renovation work in the home that may be necessary, and if done they will be billed to the customer separately by the installer after the customer has approved the installer's price quote.

The normal lead time for this installation is 5 working days from receipt of the device by the customer, depending on the destination. In the event of a delay, please let us know so that we can contact the installer to urge them to remedy it as soon as possible.

6. Specific terms and conditions for Smart Home


1. Purpose
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to:

(a) inform consumers of the terms and conditions of sale of IBERDROLA Smart Home products, the associated services and specifications of which are given on the IBERDROLA, or the product supplier, web sites;

(b) establish the rights and obligations of the parties as regards the sale of products by IBERDROLA to the customer.

2. Geographical scope
IBERDROLA Smart Home products are sold throughout Spain.

3. Terms and Conditions of Service Use
The use of the online characteristics of the products, mobile apps and web tools are subject to online registration and acceptance of the terms and conditions of service available on product supplier websites. ;

You must declare to have read and accepted the aforementioned terms and conditions to use these services.

Moreover, the data recorded by the products to render the aforementioned services will be sent to IBERDROLA (either directly or via the product suppliers) for the purposes that you must be informed of and accept before it is used by IBERDROLA.

4. Billing and Payment
The product price will be billed with your next power supply bill and payment settled on its due date.

A total or partial delay in payment will accrue an annual interest equal to the legal interest plus two percentage points from the day after the scheduled date of payment and with no need for a prior request for payment.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event of non-payment and in compliance with the requirements set forth in Royal Decree 1720/2007, IBERDROLA may notify the credit reporting agencies of incidents of non-payment before notifying the customer.

5. Product knowledge and compatibility
By accepting these Terms and Conditions you declare to accept and know the products and their specifications. Before placing an order, it is your sole responsibility to assess the compatibility of the products ordered with the equipment and at the installations where they will be used.

6. Order fulfilment with home delivery
If you choose products with home delivery, they will be delivered to the shipping address you provided during the purchasing process. IBERDROLA does not ship orders outside the territory mentioned in these Terms and Conditions.
If you have any concerns regarding a possible anomaly, you must follow the procedures of the carrier (in particular, notify of any damage, claim or reservations) and refuse to accept the goods, immediately indicating to the carrier that the product is not in good condition and notifying IBERDROLA of the observed irregularities regarding the order.

7. Delivery times for home delivery of orders
If you purchased the products with home delivery, the usual delivery time is 4 to 8 working days, depending on order destination. ;

You are responsible for notifying IBERDROLA by e-mail if there is any delay with the delivery with respect to the initial delivery date. This will allow us to conduct an investigation regarding the carrier company. This investigation may take up to 21 business days. If during this time, the products are found, they will be immediately sent to the place of delivery indicated in the order.

However, if the requested products are not located after this period of twenty-one (21) days of investigation, IBERDROLA must resend the products that were ordered at its own expense.

If the ordered products are unavailable, you will be informed as soon as possible and the products will be sent when they become available.

If you wish to cancel your order because of this circumstance, IBERDROLA will refund the full amount thereof without delay and no later than 30 days after payment. If there is a change of product, the delivery costs will be at the expense of the consumer.

Please bear in mind that these delivery times are merely indicative. You may not claim damages and prejudices, withhold any amount, or cancel the order if the delivery takes longer. However, the ordered products will be delivered within a maximum period of 30 days from the date that the order was registered. You can cancel your order if it does not arrive within this time. In that case, the amounts paid will be refunded without delay, excluding any other compensation.

8. Opting out
The customer may opt out of the contract without explanation and without any penalisation of any type no later than fourteen (14) calendar
days from the date of receipt of the product or activation of the service and from being considered a consumer and user. In such cases, the price of the product will be returned under the terms and conditions established in the following clause. Contracts relating to a commercial, business, professional or trade activity are excluded. You can opt out by calling Customer Service on 900 22 45 22 or by any other means of communication indicating your decision to opt out of the contract.

9. Return policy
If you wish to return a product or if you are not satisfied with product compliance, to replace it or get a refund, you must meet all the following conditions:

This procedure comprises a 3-step process:

Step 1: return request
Within a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of delivery of the requested product, you can cancel the purchase and return the product, in which case you will bear the cost of the return. After fourteen (14) days, you can return the product if it is defective or does not work as indicated.

To request a return, you must call 900 22 45 22.

Step 2: return of the product
In response to the request for return, we will send an email with a return form and the return address. The product must be returned within seven working days from the time that IBERDROLA sends a return form. After this period, IBERDROLA will not replace or give any refund for the products ordered.

The client will bear all costs and risks involved in the return of products. You must return the products by registered post to ensure they arrive at the indicated address. You accept that IBERDROLA cannot be held liable should a package fail to reach its destination and is not received by IBERDROLA. To the extent that you are the sender, you are the only party in condition to request to the carrier company to open an investigation.

All the following terms and conditions must be fulfilled for IBERDROLA to accept the return:

  • (a) Include the product return form sent by IBERDROLA.
  • (b) The product's original condition (seal, packing, accessories, manuals, etc.) must be preserved.
  • (c) Incorrect or excessive use, damaged presentation and, in general, any inappropriate use with regard to the intended purpose of the product will annul your right to return the product.
  • (d) No product will be refunded if it or its original packaging has been damaged. In particular, if the product's packaging was damaged during the return delivery, IBERDROLA will not accept the return.

Step 3: Refund
On reception of the returned product, IBERDROLA will confirm correct reception via email.
IBERDROLA reserves the right to determine in good faith if all these conditions have been met. If the return is approved with right to a refund, this will be done within a maximum of 30 days after the issue of confirmation of receipt of the product.

10. Liability and limited warranty
The products offered by IBERDROLA comply with current Spanish legislation. IBERDROLA will accept no liability for full or partial non-compliance or for delays in the performance of the contract caused because the product is out of stock or unavailable, or in case of events of force majeure, including yet not limited to serious faults in Internet security, technical failures, unauthorised access and/or intrusions in website servers, strikes and failures in computer systems or the telephone customer service.

11. Partial invalidity of these conditions
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is ruled as invalid by any court with competent jurisdiction or declared as such, in conformity with a law or regulation, the lack of validity of any such disposition shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain current and in effect.

12. Applicable Law and Claims
The present terms and conditions shall be governed for all purposes by the laws of Spain.

The sale of products by IBERDROLA is subject to the rules regarding distance selling currently in force in Spain.
