ELECTRICITY SUPPLY PRICE

The price of the power charge and the promotion and non-promotional periods will remain unchanged during 12 months, although subject to updating as per variations corresponding to the CPI (1) on 1 January of subsequent years while the contract is in force.

(1) CPI: Actual accrued value, for the November-to-November period of the year before the application of the variation, of the General Consumer Price Index published by the Spanish National Institute for Statistics.

Any upwards or downwards variations in the access rates and tolls, fees and the regulated items that the government approves for application during the term of the contract will be applied, based on Royal Decree 1164/2001 and Order IET / 2735 / 2015.

To be able to apply the variations of the regulated items to contract prices, the REE current initial profile corresponding to the access tariff for power will be used, applying the item variations to this profile and applying it for the contract pricing periods.

The Winter Plan can only be subscribed for supplies with a 2.0DHA and 2.1DHA access tariff. If this access tariff is not available, on subscription, the distributor will be requested to change the rate. This will be at a charge of €9.04 (excluding taxes) for the connection of your distributor. Iberdrola Clientes will pay the equivalent amount to the customer. This procedure may involve a change to the contracted power, which could entail your distributor applying further costs.

Iberdrola Clientes will offset this cost with the equivalent amount. Subscription of the service will also be subject to having a smart metre that is effectively integrated into the system as well as remote controlled. If this metre is not available, the Night Plan is automatically activated.

If, on occasion, your Distributor does not send us the load curve for a specific period, billing will be based on the average profile published by Red Eléctrica de España (REE).

The energy will be billed as the product obtained by multiplying the price, with and without promotion, by the consumption in the corresponding period. The following time ranges will apply to each of the periods (non-promotion and promotion):

Winter Plan Rate:
- Non-Promotion: energy use from 2 March to 30 November (both inclusive).
- Promotion: energy use from 1 December to 1 March (both inclusive).

The power will be billed as the product obtained by multiplying the daily power charge by the corresponding power to be billed, and multiplying the result by the number of days in the billing period. The daily power charge is obtained by dividing the annual power charge by the number of days in the year.

Reactive energy, where appropriate, will be billed by applying the reactive energy billing charge approved by the government, as established in the regulations. The electricity tax will be applied to this supplement.

If the Winter Plan does not fully suit your needs, you can switch to a new Plan whenever you like, as long as it is not the Summer Plan.

To sign up for the Winter Plan, the holder must have another electricity point contracted with Iberdrola Clientes, S.A. U., with an offer other than the Winter Plan.

Signing up for this Plan is conditional on having activated the subscription to E-billing for the duration of the contract.

We also remind you that you have signed up for energy with Guarantee of Origin certification by the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC), which comes exclusively from energy sources certified as 100% renewable that avoid CO2 emissions.

METER RENTAL PRICE

The monthly rental price for the electricity metre will be established by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade for the corresponding access tariff, and charged by the distribution company. VAT(*) will be added to this price, which will appear on the bills issued to the customer. Customers may consult current prices at www.iberdrola.es.

CONTRACT DURATION

The duration of this contract is 12 months from the supply start date.

The supply start date shall be later than the date of acceptance of this contract and will be conditional on the existence of an access contract with the distribution company, the availability of the electricity and any work to be carried out on the installations, where necessary. The supply start date shall be the first day of the stipulated metering period indicated on the first bill.

The contract may be extended for annual periods in accordance with the General Conditions.

(*) The applicable tax rate will be the currently valid rate and will be specified and broken down on the bill. VAT is not applied in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, where the special tax system applied, respectively, is the IGIC (Canary Islands Special Indirect Tax) and the IPSI (Tax on Production, Services and Imports).
