A singular modern building

The TORRE IBERDROLA has a constructed surface of approximately 62,000 metres squared, distributed in over 41 well-lit stories in the shape of a triangular prism to take full advantage of the available space.

Designed by the renowned architect César Pelli, the building is the city’s highest, spanning 165 metres into the sky, and has become an emblem of Bilbao due to the impact of its design, which suggests a great crystal obelisk. The prism’s vertices join together at a symbolic height of 1,000 metres.

The majestic gate at the main entrance, which stands as much as 10 metres, is enclosed by sculptured glass, making it both alluring and inviting. This simple and elegant main foyer likewise includes a spacious landscaped area.
