THE IBERDROLA COMMITMENT: KEEP OUR EMISSIONS PER kWh AT LEAST 20% BELOW THAN THE EUROPEAN ELECTRICITY SECTOR IN 2020, I.E., TO CUT THEM BY 30% WITH RESPECT TO 2007 LEVELS

The Company has already achieved much in this regard. It is world leader in wind energy and a pioneer in new technologies such as carbon capture, developing electric vehicle transport and marine energy. We plan to continue working towards a more sustainable world with initiatives aimed at reducing CO2 emissions, through a determined focus on less pollutant energies and efficient energy programmes that involve everyone. A global commitment for all who want to help in efforts to combat global warming.
