Within its policy of encouraging the use of new technologies and its commitment to the environment, IBERDROLA promotes the use of the Internet as a channel for carrying out transactions with the suppliers.

Along these lines, a new functionality has been included, allowing suppliers to directly record their invoices in IBERDROLA's purchases system, without having to send any documents by post, with the following advantages:

  • Minimising times of approval of invoices.
  • On-line information on the state of invoices from the moment of recording.
  • On-line validation, which makes it impossible to send erroneous data.
  • Reduction of cost of sending invoices.

Moreover, thanks to this web-based bill registration capability, the administrative process has been streamlined:

  • No risk of loss of documents.
  • Not necessary to send paper invoices systematically. The application permits printing of a copy of the invoices if necessary.
  • Permits massive recording of invoices from file.
