IBERDROLA’s commitment to the quality of life of citizens extends to Company employees. On 31st March 2013, roundly 30,764(*) people work for IBERDROLA in nearly 40 countries.

IBERDROLA works continuously in the quality of the benefits delivered to those who are part of our project. Thus, the company has been noted for its commitment  such as continuous training and its leading position in balancing family and professional life, with family and maternity measures that exceed the demands of current legislation. We were also the first Ibex-35 company to implement a shorter working day with no lunch break. Bringing personal and family life into balance is one of the main principles of the Human Resources policy at IBERDROLA.

Following the guidelines included in the Spanish Act on Equality among Men and Women, IBERDROLA Group has set forth measures in its collective agreement showing a firm will to promote real equality, eliminating the obstacles and social stereotypes avoiding its achievement.
