Talent Management

The executive team plays a decisive role in managing a multinational company such as IBERDROLA, which is present in nearly 40 countries. For this reason, the Management Development Unit works on the following projects:

  • The definition of a global talent assessment process.
  • The management of training and developing executives on a worldwide level through the comprehensive Management School at the Campus IBERDROLA.
  • The process of evaluating the executives of the Company, Leadership Development Review (LDR), with a view to ascertaining strengths and detecting areas to improve, both at a personal and global level.
Many future professionals and executives of our Group receive training in Glasgow as part of the International Graduate Programme.

The primary objectives are:

  • Spreading the corporate culture of Grupo IBERDROLA.
  • Developing a leadership model based on Company philosophy.
  • The continuous improvement of the technical and market knowledge of each executive.
  • Consolidation as an international point of exchange with respect of knowledge, expertise and good practices, in line with the new dimensions of the Group.

In turn, the Management School organises its activities pivoting around two axes:

  • The executive training programme, to keep the skills and business knowledge base of the executive team up to date.
  • The leadership programme, to help shape the future leaders of IBERDROLA.
