Accesibility: WCAG-WAI AA + EUCAREST CERTIFICATION
IBERDROLA’S WEB PAGE HAS BEEN CERTIFIED WITH THE DOUBLE A + EURACERT ACCESSIBILITY LABEL(*), WHICH HAS THE SUPPORT OF THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION
In line with the commitments undertaken within their Social Reputation policy, IBERDROLA aims to facilitate access to their web site, www.iberdrola.com, for everyone, regardless of disability, age or whether they are accessing the web using less conventional technologies.
Because of this the www.iberdrola.com web page has been designed to comply with priority guidelines 1 and 2 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (WCAG) established by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).
After carrying out an Accessibility Audit, Technosite, an ONCE Foundation company especialized in technology and disability, has granted www.iberdrola.com the Double A Technosite + Euracert certification:
On 05/06/2009 an Accessibility Audit was conducted on IBERDROLA’s website http://www.iberdrola.com
The result of the audit satisfies the accessibility requirements for Technosite’s Double-A level + Euracert (*) in the W3C-WAI’s web content accessibility guidelines 1.0.
The Euracert certificate of accessibility is the result of the collaboration between several European organizations specializing in Web accessibility, with the backing of the European Union:
Technosite, in the Grupo Fundosa (Spain), BrailleNet Association (France) and ONA (Belgium).
