JUAN LUIS ARREGUI DECIDES NOT TO STAND FOR REELECTION AS IBERDROLA BOARD MEMBER
IBERDROLA’s Deputy Chairman Juan Luis Arregui has decided not to stand for reelection as a Board Director, ahead of a vote at today’s Annual General Meeting in Bilbao.
Following 15 years as a member of the Board, Juan Luis Arregui said he was standing down “in order to cut short all speculation surrounding conflicts of interest”, in releation to his position as Chairman of Ence.
He said: “I will continue to be loyal to IBERDROLA, its Chairman and the Group’s industrial project. I feel proud to have been able to contribute to the Company’s leadership in the energy sector.”
