Xabier Viteri Solaun has been appointed new Manager of Renewable Energies at Iberdrola. Born in Bilbao in 1960, Viteri has until now held the post of Head of Renewable Energies for the North.
An Industrial Electrical Engineer from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de Bilbao (Superior Technical School of Industrial Engineers) and holder of the PDG (General Management Program) qualification from IESE Business School, he has been appointed as part of the promotions policy being implemented by the Company. The new Head of Renewable Energies has collaborated with the IBERDROLA Group for over 12 years.
Víctor M. Rodríguez, IBERDROLA Representative in Castilla-La Mancha and Head of Renewable Energies for this Autonomous Region, Madrid, Murcia and Valencia, has been appointed Head of Renewable Energies, Spain.
Born in Ciudad Real, Rodríguez is an Engineer (electrical branch) from ICAI (the Professional College of Engineers within Pontificia Comillas University of Madrid) and a Master in International Marketing & Commerce. He was the impetus behind the wind-power business in Castilla-La Mancha, the Autonomous Region which is home to almost 50% of IBEDROLA’s renewable power in Spain.
IBERDROLA Ingeniería y Construcción (IBERINCO), until now under the authority of Renewable Energies, is now joining the industrial businesses covered by Financial Management, headed by José Sáinz Armada.
